Dr. Aron Hari Harilela, BBS, JP, Court Member of HKBU and Sponsoring Member of the HKBU Foundation, was appointed by the HKSAR Government as Non-official Member of the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) Operations Review Committee, while Ms. Quince Chong Wai Yan, JP and Professor Lau Chi Kuen, JP, Sponsoring Members of the HKBU Foundation, were re-appointed as Non-official Members of the ICAC Citizens Advisory Committee on Community Relations. These appointments took effect from 1 January 2020 for a term of two years.

Dr. Harilela is currently Chairman and CEO of Harilela Hotels Limited, while Ms. Chong is Corporate Development Director of CLP Power Hong Kong, and Professor Lau is Associate Dean of Graduate School and Head of the Department of Journalism of HKBU.
