Mr. Cheng Yan Kee, BBS, JP, Chairman of the Council and the Court of HKBU and Ex-officio Member of the Board of Governors of the HKBU Foundation, was awarded an honorary degree of Doctor of Business Administration, honoris causa, by the Macau University of Science and Technology on 27 March 2017, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the development of the higher education sector and to society at large. Mr. Cheng is currently Managing Director of HK Cheng and Partners Limited.
