Sun Museum holds “Evolving Images: Modern Hong Kong Printmaking” exhibitions

The Sun Museum, funded by the Simon Suen Foundation, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, is holding an exhibition entitled “Evolving Images: Modern Hong Kong Printmaking”. 35 recent prints by nine Hong Kong artists as well as one artwork from each artist in their specialisation such as ceramics and ink painting were exhibited. Participating artists include Wan Lai Kuen, Lam Tung Pang, Chow Chun Fai, Ling Chin Tang, Chan Yuk Keung, Wong Lai Yan, Lo Kwan Chi, Chung Tai Fu and Tse Yim On demonstrate how they can reproduce their artistic flair on print.

The Opening Ceremony, officiated by Ms. Florence Hui, SBS, JP, Under Secretary for Home Affairs; Dr. Johnny Ng, Chairman of the Hong Kong United Youth Association; Miss Chloe Suen, Chair of the Simon Suen Foundation; and Mr. Yeung Chun Tong, Director of the Sun Museum, was held on 23 March 2017. Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement, attended the Ceremony on behalf of the University.

The exhibition aims to increase the public’s awareness and interest in prints. The public can enjoy free admission by appointment and the exhibition will be held until 10 June 2017. Please click here for details.
