Dr. Gordon L.O. Tsui, JP, Member of Alumni Committee of the HKBU Foundation, was re-appointed as Non-official Member of the Family Council, while Ms. May S.M. Chan, BBS, JP, Senior Member of the HKBU Foundation, and Ms. Amarantha Y.W. Yip, donor of the University, were newly appointed as Non-official Members of the Family Council.  These appointments took effect from 1 April 2017 for a two-year term. Dr. Tsui is currently Director and Deputy General Manager of Hantec Pacific Limited, while Ms. Chan is Director (News and Public Affairs) of Hong Kong Commercial Broadcasting Company Limited, and Ms. Yip is Head of Service of the Hong Kong Family Welfare Society.
