Mr. Joe Chau Kwok Ming, Senior Member of the HKBU Foundation, Mr. Kwok Kwok Chuen, BBS, JP and Mr. Michael Hui Wah Kit, MH, JP, donors of the University, were appointed as Members of the Competition Commission for a term of two years with effect from 1 May 2018.

Mr. Chau is currently Director of REER Garment Manufactory Limited; Mr. Kwok is currently  Honorary Senior Research Fellow of the School of Economics and Finance of The University of Hong Kong; while Mr. Hui is currently Managing Director of Freedom Industrial Corporation Ltd.
