Three members of the HKBU Foundation were recently appointed as Members of the Standing Commission on Civil Service Salaries and Conditions of Service (SCCS) by the HKSAR Government. Dr. Wilfred Wong, GBS, JP, Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Governors of the HKBU Foundation and President and Chief Operating Officer of Sands China Limited, and Ms. Angela Lee, BBS, JP, Chairman of Laboratory JaneClare Limited, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, were re-appointed as the Chairman and Member respectively of the SCCS while Ms. Christina Lee, Member of the Young Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation and Director of Wofoo Social Enterprises and Wofoo Foundation Limited, was appointed as Member of the SCCS. The term of Dr. Wilfred Wong will be extended from 31 July 2018 to 31 December 2018, while the term of Ms. Angela Lee will be extended to 31 December 2020. The appointment of Ms. Christina Lee will take effect from 1 August 2018 to 31 December 2020.

Ms. Christina Lee was also appointed as Non-official Member of the Harbourfront Commission. The appointment took effect from 1 July 2018 for a term of two years.
