Shun Hing hosts an exhibition in celebration of its 65th Anniversary

To mark its 65th anniversary, the Shun Hing Group held “The Future of Living Expo” at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 7 to 10 November 2018. Hong Kong Baptist University was invited to showcase its latest technological achievements and the project sponsored by Shun Hing Education and Charity Fund Limited at the exhibition.

Attended by over 400 guests, the opening ceremony was officiated by Dr. David Mong, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Shun Hing Group, and Ms. Cynthia Mong, Executive Director of Shun Hing Electronic Trading Co., Ltd, as well as other guests.

HKBU representatives joining the ceremony included Professor Roland T. Chin, President and Vice-Chancellor; Dr. Albert Chau, Vice-President (Teaching and Learning); Dr. Andy Lee, Vice-President (Administration) and Secretary; and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation.

A number of HKBU Foundation members also paid a visit to the exhibition. They included Ms. Rosanna Choi; Ir Professor K.K. Wong, GBS, JP; Mr. Yu Pang Chun, GBS, JP; and Professor Frank Fu, MH, JP.

The Expo was organised with the aim of enhancing people’s understanding of innovative technologies, design and cutting-edge products. It offered free admission to the public. At HKBU’s booth, latest technological achievements of the University were exhibited and introduced by student ambassadors.

The Shun Hing Group has been staunch supporters for the University. Shun Hing Education and Charity Fund Limited is Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation.
